What is Islam??? (1st Post )

Every person hears a word called ISLAM.

 So what is It Actually?


In this article we will know:

  • What is Islam?

The Answer is...

                           Islam is a religion full of Peace. 

Islam is derived from the Arabic root "Salama": which means peace, purity, submission, and obedience. In the religious sense, Islam means submission to the will of Allah and obedience to His law.

Everything and every phenomenon in the world other than man is administered totally by Allah-made laws, ie. they are obedient to Allah and submissive to his laws, they are in the State of Islam. Man possesses the qualities of intelligence and choice, thus he is invited to submit to the goodwill of Allah and obey His law, ie, become a Muslim.

Submission to the goodwill of Allah, together with obedience to His beneficial Law, ie, becoming a Muslim, is the best safeguard for man's peace and harmony.

Islam dates back to the age of Adam and its message has been conveyed to man by Allah's prophets and messengers, including Ibrahim, Mosa, Eisa, and Muhammad ( Peace be Upon Him ).

Islam's message has been restored and enforced in the last stage of the religious evolution by Allah's last prophet and messenger, Muhammad ( Peace Be Upon Him ).

The word Allah in the Arabic language means God, or more accurately, The One and Only Eternal God, Creator of the Universe, Lord of all lords, King of all kings, Most Compassionate, Most Merciful. The word Allah to mean God is also used by Arabic-speaking Jews and Christians.

RIGHTs and DUTIEs of HUSBAND and WIFE

  Islam has enjoined upon the husband's duties towards his wife, and vice versa, and among these duties are some which are shared by both husband and wife.  We will mention – by the help of Allaah – some of the texts of the Qur'an and Sunnah which have to do with the duties of the spouses towards one another, quoting also from the commentaries and views of the scholars.  Firstly:  The rights of the wife which are hers alone:  The wife has financial rights over her husband, which are the mahr (dowry), spending, and accommodation.  And she has non-financial rights, such as the fair division between co-wives, being treated in a decent and reasonable manner, and not being treated in a harmful way by her husband.  1.Financial rights  (a)The mahr (dowry).
