Semitic religions

Semitic religions are religions that originated among the Semites. According to the Bible, Prophet Noah (pbuh) had a son called Shem. The descendents of Shem are known as Semites. Therefore, Semitic religions are the religions that originated among the jews, Arabs, Assyrians, Phoenicians, etc. Major Semitic religions are Prophetic religions that believe in Divine Guidance sent through prophets of God.

Non-Semitic religions

The non-Semitic religions are further subdivided into Aryan and non-Aryan religions:

Aryan Religions

Aryan religions are the religions that originated among the Aryans, a powerful group of indo-European speaking people that spread through Iran and Northern india in the firs half of the second Millennium BC (2000 to 1500 BC)
The Aryan Religions are further subdivided into Vedic  and  non-Vedic  religions. The Vedic religion is given the misnomer of Hinduism or Brahmanism. The non-Vedic Religions are Sikhism, Buddhism, Jainism, etc. Almost all Aryan religions are non-Prophetic religions.
Zoroastrianism is an Aryan,  non-vedic religion, which is not associated with Hinduism. It claims to be a prophetic religion.

Non-Aryan Religions

The non-Aryan religions have diverse origins. Confucianism and Taoism are of Chinese origin while Shintoism is  of Japanese origin. Many of these non-Aryan religions do not have a concept of God. They are better referred to as ethical systems rather than as religions.

Most Authentic Definition of God in any Religion

The concept of  God espoused by a religion cannot be judged by merely observing the practice of its followers. It is quite common for the followers of many religions to be ignorant of the concept of God in their scriptures. It is therefore better to analyse the concept of god in any religion by referring to its holy scriptures.
Let us understand the concept of God in major world religions by analysing what their scriptures have to say abou it.

Islam has enjoined upon the husband's duties towards his wife, and vice versa, and among these duties are some which are shared by both husband and wife.  We will mention – by the help of Allaah – some of the texts of the Qur'an and Sunnah which have to do with the duties of the spouses towards one another, quoting also from the commentaries and views of the scholars.  Firstly:  The rights of the wife which are hers alone:  The wife has financial rights over her husband, which are the mahr (dowry), spending, and accommodation.  And she has non-financial rights, such as the fair division between co-wives, being treated in a decent and reasonable manner, and not being treated in a harmful way by her husband.  1.Financial rights  (a)The mahr (dowry). This is the money to which the wife is entitled from her husband when the marriage contract is completed or when the marriage is consummated. It is a right which the man is obliged to pay to the woman....

Whatever good it does, it will be rewarded for it, and whatever evil it does, it will have to bear the burden of that sin, as Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):  “Allaah burdens not a person beyond his scope. He gets reward for that (good) which he has earned, and he is punished for that (evil) which he has earned” [al-Baqarah 2:286]  Allaah has spared the Muslims any difficulty or hardship in all that He has enjoined upon them. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):  “He has chosen you (to convey His Message of Islamic Monotheism to mankind by inviting them to His religion of Islam), and has not laid upon you in religion any hardship” [al-Hajj 22:78]  Every sin that a Muslim commits because he makes a mistake, or forgets, or is forced to do it, is forgiven by Allaah, as Allaah says ...
